To fulfill these aims, we collaborate with professors, who are not only acknowledged academics and researchers, but also have plenty of practical experience in their fields of occupation. We apply modern teaching methods, provide an encouraging learning environment, skilled and helpful tutors and other staff, and up to-date materials. We want to give our students everything they need to build up a basis for a successful career.

STRATEGIES:

Personnel:

We work with professionals who can provide our students with the most recent knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and international business. Because the emphasis of our program is on business in an international context, we teach our students about the importance of national capital, but also make them competent in analyzing it from within a broader cultural and business environment. We teach our students that success in international business and entering international markets requires knowing how to recognize, respect, and handle differences. Finally, our curriculum allows students to improve their knowledge of foreign languages.

Literature:

The school's library provides most of the compulsory literature that students require for specific courses. It also offers a selection of expert and scientific literature in different languages, mainly in English and Slovene. Supplementary literature recommendations are provided by professors, who give students access to extra learning materials, such as articles, books and e-books. Our school also provides the students a discount for registering at the National and University Library, and wireless access to field-relevant literature from the Emerald e-database is available on school premises.

International activities:

The school is working on increasing its participation in international projects, which will introduce a different, relaxed working environment, and create more opportunities for student-professor cooperation. The students will get opportunities to acquire experience working in an international environment, where they will be exposed to different cultural patterns.

Our school participates in projects of European mobility (Erasmus). We are also planning on organizing summer schools for our students and other interested individuals to specialize in certain skills and areas.

Encouraging critical thinking:

The learning process at our school greatly emphasizes the students' activity. Students come to classes prepared, as this is the only way they can discuss problems with their teachers and solve them together in class. We are also very rigorous when it comes to student assessment, facing our students with assignments that require them to use their problem-solving skills, and to find new innovative solutions.

Active participation is the only guarantee that students will really master the aims envisaged by our curriculum. Students learn to work together; this way, they can practice and improve their communication and teamwork skills.

Every organization is in constant interaction with its immediate environment. This environment requires our acknowledgement, direction and encouragement. ERUDIO Center for Higher Education is accredited for the implementation of higher education professional undergraduate study programmes in Entrepreneurship and International Business (1st degree), Sustainable Tourism (1st degree) and Gerokinesiology (1st degree), as well as for the implementation of the postgraduate Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business (2nd degree) in Slovenia.The Centre is also accredited for the implementation of the Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business (2nd degree) in Slovenia.

Graduates of the 1st degree programme in Entrepreneurship and International Business are awarded the following degrees:

• BACHELOR OF ECONOMICS (VS) / BACHELOR OF ECONOMICS (VS).
• Graduates of the 1st cycle of the Sustainable Tourism programme obtain the title: 
• BACHELOR OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM (VS) / BACHELOR OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM (VS).

We also offer programs GEROKINESIOLOGY and Masters in both Business and Sustainable Tourism, which are executed in Slovenian language only.

STRUCTURE

SENATE:

The senate is the superior academic organ. It is elected by the academic staff. It includes professors, scientific associates and students. The senate discusses questions related to the school's academic work. It determines the academic foundations of the program and the school's development strategy. It also coordinates the school's educational, scientific, and research activities and output, as well as other related matters.

• Quality Management Committee.

MANAGEMENT BOARD:

The board is responsible for the management activities related to the work of ERUDIO Center for Higher Education. The board's tasks are specified in the relevant legislation; furthermore, the board manages the school in accordance with the school's statute. The board approves the school's statute and other regulatory documents, and appoints the dean, deputy dean and other managers of the school and its departments.

ACADEMIC COUNCIL:

The academic council is constituted annualy, consisting of all of the pedagogical associates of the school taking part in the pedagogical process of the current academic year. The council consists of all of the professors, scientific associates and all other expert associates who take part in the educational and research activities of the current academic year. The council also includes student council representatives.

STUDENT COUNCIL:

The student council represents the students of the ERUDIO BUSINESS SCHOOL. Its members are elected by the students at the beginning of each academic year. All the students have the opportunity to participate in the public elections. Student council members represent the students in the Academic Council, the Senate and the Senate's committies: the Student and Studies Related Affairs Committie and the Quality Management Committee.
